@Joker Do you truly feel that way about GameFAQs moderators? I'm on my tenth year there and I'm inclined to agree that the moderators are not reminded of their duty and place often enough. I think you're right. The authority is in place to serve the people, but both the people and the authority have desecrated the sacred basis of society by forgetting that. <br> <br> So I have trust in you.

While the site is to be enjoyed, the duties of efficient moderation have requirements that some fulfill better than others. Objectivity, time investment and understanding of the role are important, thus, if one sincerely feels fitting for the role, if they have the capacity to display the appropriate behavior (and act on predictable procedures) then they ought to do the job well. Or maybe they deserve some investigation, but only if it's sincere.

It makes sense we would have Joker as a moderator. Objectivity, reliability and dedication to one's job are desirable for a moderator. Know, however, that your duty is to serve the community and not to be served by the community. I've seen many moderators fall to that delusion.
